ABOUT WINDSEEKER KENNELS
Windseeker Irish Wolfhounds is a breeder kennel located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.  We currently have five Irish Wolfhounds and bred our first litter of Irish Wolfhounds in the summer of 2006. Our Irish Wolfhounds are, first and foremost, our much-loved house pets.  They and our three boys have a mutual love relationship and together, they take up a lot of space in our house!  We show our Irish Wolfhounds and, to date, have done quite well in the show ring.  Our Irish Wolfhounds also love to run and we participate in lure-coursing events in Alberta.   Our first Irish Wolfhound, “Clifford”, is still with us and was #6 Irish Wolfhound in Canada for Lure Coursing for 2002.

Our start in breeding was with a 2002 breeding of Clifford which has produced successful children and grandchildren.  We are currently showing his granddaughter, Ch. Mistyglen’s Ena and are expected great things from her in the coming years.  Watch for her at shows in Southern Alberta.  Ch. Mistyglen’s Luna Seasaihminm is a beautiful girl who obtained her Canadian Championship with ease and had numerous group placements in very limited showing.  She was our conformation “learning” dog.  Ch. Mistyglen's Ice Queen Blues is the newest addition to our household and is the foundation of our breeding program. Ice was bred to Clifford and eight beautiful puppies arrived at the end of July 2006.

Clifford has an “in-your-face” boisterous nature which makes him ageless.  Even though he’s now almost 6, you’d think he was still a puppy.  Luna and Ena have quiet, dignified personalities that are so characteristic of Irish Wolfhounds but they are always ready for a cuddle or a hug if needed.
